Education and Experience

I graduated with a Master’s degree in Osteopathy from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine, a world-renowned institution for naturopathic and osteopathic excellence.

Throughout my career and training, I have developed extensive experience treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions, from sports injuries to general aches and pains caused by modern lifestyle habits. I have worked with patients of all ages and activity levels, helping them achieve better mobility, reduced pain, and improved overall wellbeing.

My practice is evidence-informed, meaning I align my treatments with the latest NICE (National Institute for Health and Care Excellence) guidelines to ensure the best outcomes for patients of all ages and activity levels.

Treatment Approach

I apply a structural approach to Osteopathy, employing a wide range of gentle yet effective techniques including, soft tissue massage, articulations and spinal manipulation (where indicated). My treatments are tailored to the individual needs of the patient, with the aim of resolving the deeper underlying cause. I place a strong emphasis on working with my patients to develop attainable goals that align with my patients desired outcomes.

Clinical Pilates

Movement, in my opinion, is the keystone to recovery. To offer the highest level of rehabilitative care, I have completed additional specialist training with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI).

I find that Clinical Pilates is immensely beneficial not only for my patients' injury recovery but also for those wishing to develop sustainable muscular strength, improved postural awareness, and general flexibility.

I ensure that my osteopathic treatments and Clinical Pilates sessions are always a collaborative experience. We will work together to create specific goals that align with your desired outcomes, as I have found that this partnership allows for the best possible recovery rates and long-term health.

Additional Qualifications

In addition to osteopathy and Clinical Pilates, I hold further qualifications in Medical Acupuncture, Sports Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, and Pregnancy Massage. I incorporate these modalities to complement my treatments, providing a holistic and personalised approach that supports your long-term health and recovery.

Patient-Focused Care

I believe in a collaborative treatment experience. By setting personalised goals and working alongside you, I help you achieve meaningful improvements in your mobility, pain relief, and overall wellbeing. My approach is designed to foster confidence, comfort, and empowerment, ensuring you feel fully supported throughout every stage of your care.

Patient Safety & Clinical Referrals

Your safety and wellbeing are my absolute priority. As a Allied Health Professional, my clinical process is designed to put your safety first. During your initial consultation, I perform an in-depth postural assessment and targeted orthopaedic testing. This examination allows me to differentiate between mechanical strain and more complex issues, ensuring that osteopathic treatment is the safe and appropriate course of action for you.

By gathering this clinical data, I can formulate an accurate working diagnosis. I take the time to explain exactly what I believe is causing your symptoms and how my proposed osteopathic treatment plan is tailored specifically to your unique biomechanics and lifestyle goals.

Guidance on Further Investigation

Your wellbeing is my priority, and I am trained to recognise when a condition may fall outside the scope of manual therapy. If my assessment indicates that further imaging (such as an MRI or X-ray) or diagnostic tests are necessary to ensure a safe recovery, I will provide you with expert advice on how to proceed.

Whether you require a referral back to your GP or wish to explore private diagnostic options, I will support you through the process, ensuring you have the information you need to make informed decisions about your health.

Osteopathy Treatment for Pain Relief and Improved Mobility

Osteopathy treatment, Newquay TR7, Truro TR1, St Austell PL25 & surrounding areas.

Osteopathy is a gentle, hands-on therapy that focuses on the muscles, joints, and connective tissues to improve mobility, reduce pain, and support the body’s natural healing process. Rather than just treating symptoms, our skilled osteopaths work to identify and address the root causes of discomfort.

Whether you’re experiencing back pain, neck stiffness, sports injuries, or want to enhance your overall physical health, we offer safe, personalised osteopathy treatments in a calm and supportive environment. Our goal is to help you restore balance, move more freely, and achieve optimal well-being.
